QUILT CLASSES

BLOCK OF THE MONTH (*): As you make blocks, you will learn general quilt making techniques, advance your piecing skills and gain confidence in color selection. Join us for our “not the usual block of the month” program. Tues., May 14, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. OR 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Instructor: Sue Donbroski, Fee: $15/month.

CIVIL WAR BLOCK OF THE MONTH (**): Pam and Sue have chosen a lovely pattern, “Women’s Voice”, for this year’s project. You’ll make a variety of pieced and appliquẻ Civil War era blocks. Thursday, May 2, 10:30 – 1:00 p.m. or 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Instructors: Pam Sengo & Sue Donbroski, Fee $20.00/month + kit

GRACIE’S NIGHT OUT (**): Join Pam and Sue for a night of sewing, snacking and chit-chat while you make one of the two patterns featuring the popular Gracie’s 1930s reproduction prints. DIAMOND OWNERS – IT’S TIME TO SHINE! You have all the bells and whistles, now what? A Designer Diamond or Diamond Deluxe makes every project easier and fast. DIAMOND & RUBY DELUXE OWNERS – Cutwork and Table Runner (*): Cutwork - Learn the ins and outs of the Cutwork Needles in this hands-on class. You’ll make a breadbasket cloth and napkins. Cutwork: Friday, April 19, Noon – 4:00 p.m. Table Runner - Make this elegant runner as a skill builder project designed to utilize and discover wonderful features. TECHNIQUE CLASSES

APPLIQUÉ WORKSHOP (Everyone): Join Dana
monthly to make beautiful small appliqué quilts.
Dana promises lots of quilting, socializing and fun!

p.m. Instructor: Dana Lahargoue, Fee: $15 each
month + patterns

BASIC QUILTING 1A (*): Learn the basics of rotary
cutting and piecing while making a simple block.
Basic supplies are provided, but students must bring
their own sewing machine. Tues., June 4 July 2 &
August 6, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. OR Sat., June 1 July 6 &
August 3, 10:30 –12:30 p.m. Instructor: Linda
Bergmann, Fee $18 - NOTE: Due to the limited
enrollment for this class, neither refunds nor store
credits are given for cancellations.

BINDING (*): An introductory or refresher course on
how to finish off your quilt. This double fold, mitered
binding is a standard for any quilt. Monday, August

HAND PIECING & QUILTING CLUB: Join Alice on
the 1st Saturday of every month to work on new or
old projects with expert guidance each step of the
way. Beginning Hand-piecing or Hand quilting
classes highly recommended. Saturday, June 1, July
6 & August 3, 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Instructor: Alice
Calhoun, Fee: $10/month

MACHINE QUILTING FOR BEGINNERS (*): Learn
basic machine quilting techniques to showcase your
quilt tops with both your walking foot and free motion
foot. This is a fun, relaxing environment to get you
started. Saturday, June 15, 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.

PRECISION PIECING WORKSHOP (Confident
Beginner): This class will teach you everything you
need to know to create accurate, precise cutting and
piecing techniques. Students will complete a
comprehensive workbook that will serve them well
over time. (You will not make a quilt in the class.)

WALKING FOOT WONDER – NO MARK METHOD
(*): This class is for students who have taken
Machine Quilting for Beginners and/or have machine
quilting experience. LisAnn will guide and direct you
to feel at ease and put your skills to practical use.

CHRISTMAS PEACE (**): Join Pam and Janie in
making this beautiful six-month Block of the Month
project. This charming quilt features pieced blocks
and appliquẻ. Thursdays, June 13, July 18 and
August 8, 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Instructors: Pam Sengo
and Janie Lotz, Fee: $20/month plus kit.

DANCING IN THE RAIN (**): Create this lovely Log
Cabin by using lots of beautiful fabrics or a
combination of three light and three dark fabrics.

GOOSE IN THE POND (**): This traditional twocolor
quilt pattern looks fabulous in any color
combination, or use a variety of dark prints for

HEARTS & PATCHES (*): A terrific “first quilt”, Pam
will teach you all the essentials of piecing a beautiful
